Planet IEEE 802.3at Power over Gigabit Ethernet Extender - Networking

The Planet POE-E201 is a Power over Ethernet (PoE) extender designed to increase the reach of PoE networks while maintaining both data and power delivery over a single Ethernet cable. Conforming to the IEEE 802.3at (PoE+) standard, it allows PoE-capable switches or injectors to power PoE devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points, VoIP phones, and other PoE endpoints beyond the standard 100 m Ethernet limit by extending the link in segments.

This extender supports Gigabit Ethernet throughput and can be deployed in cascaded fashion (multiple units in series) to further lengthen cable runs while continuing to supply regulated power and network connectivity. It is ideal for installations where devices are located far from PoE switches or power sources—such as large outdoor premises, warehouses, or multi-building sites—helping eliminate the need for additional power outlets at remote endpoints.
